Using social media with learners – AnswerGarden and Padlet

This week a couple of extra little activities were given to us using the following two different platforms.

Padlet is an Internet application that allows people to express their thoughts on a common topic easily. It works like an online sheet of paper where people can put any content (e.g. images, videos, documents, text) anywhere on the page, together with anyone, from any device.Think of it like a multimedia friendly, free-form, real-time wiki.

If you would like to add anything to the below padlet that I created please go here to find it.

AnswerGarden is a minimalistic feedback tool. Use it in the classroom as an educational tool or at work as a creative brainstorming tool. Or you can embed it on your website or blog to use it as a poll or guestbook. To find out more about AnswerGarden please look at their about AnswerGarden post here, or watch the video below.

If you have used either of these platforms please let me know how you have used them. If you have never used them before leave a comment and let me know if you think they would be useful tools for you to use.
